Volunteer Walk Leader

Volunteer Walk Leader – Enable We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join our team as Walk Leaders for the Lewisham Healthy Walks programme. As a Walk Leader, you’ll either support an existing weekly walk or help set up a new route in collaboration with our programme lead. Walks take place in parks and green spaces across the borough and are designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and accessible to all.

Detailed Description

Volunteer Walk Leader – Enable We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join our team as Walk Leaders for the Lewisham Healthy Walks programme. As a Walk Leader, you’ll either support an existing weekly walk or help set up a new route in collaboration with our programme lead. Walks take place in parks and green spaces across the borough and are designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and accessible to all. Time commitment: Around 1 hour per week, which includes leading the walk and submitting a short attendance log. If you enjoy spending time outdoors, meeting new people, and being part of a local community initiative, we’d love to hear from you! Full training and ongoing support are provided. Interested? Why these skills are required

If you just have to enjoy walking outdoors, meeting new people, supporting a grassroots community programme. Basic level of administration to take group attendance. We provide a free in person training course, as well as ongoing support and management for all ongoing requirements.
