Become a Workshop Facilitator with GT Scholars and do your part in improving social mobility!
We are looking for skilled professionals in coding and technology to design creative and interactive workshops and deliver these workshops with our young people. The role would suit someone who has strong presentation & communication skills and someone passionate & committed to tackling educational inequality. Facilitators will be involved in running bespoke workshops in coding and technology, managing short activities and Q&A sessions during our workshops and working collaboratively with young people, volunteers and ambassadors during the workshops.

(1) Delivering and leading short workshops or courses, on behalf of GT Scholars (Online or offline) (2) Designing engaging, interactive and educational workshops and short courses for young people and ensuring that the content is targeted to suit different abilities and capabilities (3) Running your own bespoke workshops, eg. workshops in coding and technology (4) Managing short activities and Q&A sessions during our workshops (5) Working collaboratively with other event coordinators, volunteers, ambassadors, workshop facilitators and speakers at our events (6) Following the agreed timings and content for workshops and courses
(1) With the GT Scholars programme, you will be a part of a team that tackles educational inequality by giving ambitious young people from disadvantaged backgrounds the strategies, skills and support they need to achieve their academic and career ambitions. (2) As a Workshop Facilitator, you will improve the quality of education, narrow the skills gap and improve social mobility. (3) You will be bridging the skills gap by making careers in technology more accessible to young people. (5) Gain interesting and new perspectives by working with young people from diverse backgrounds. (6) Receive training and support, and be part of a community of like-minded volunteers.
Availability: Workshops run in the evenings (5 pm -8 pm) and on Saturdays (9 am -5 pm).
