Social Gardening and Food Growing Volunteers
Calthorpe Community Garden
We run social gardening and food growing sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays.
During these sessions, we focus our efforts on growing food to use in our kitchen for our community lunches and cookery classes and we undertake other seasonal gardening jobs as required. We are looking for volunteers interested in sustainability, and/or gardening and food growing, who are hands-on, good team-players and passionate about the community to work with us. You will be able to join our friendly and tasty community lunch and socialise with other volunteers and participants of our activities. You will gain valuable skills and experience in gardening and food growing working in a community setting.
