Poppy Appeal Collector
Royal British Legion (The)
Join our Poppy Team today! Be part of our nationwide appeal and become a Poppy Appeal Collector.
Every year in October and November, 30,000 Royal British Legion volunteers take to the streets armed with poppies and buckets to raise millions of pounds for the Poppy Appeal. The money collected goes towards providing help and support to current and ex-serving personnel and their families. This year, we are looking for volunteer collectors in Bromley and Beckenham to help cover a number of collection locations in the area for the two weeks of the Poppy Appeal between October and November 2026. We ask for a minimum of two hours to collect with us and there are various time slots available depending on your location. We’ll be at hand to support you on the day, and provide you with all the materials you’ll need to make your time with us as enjoyable as possible. Why not get your friends, family and colleagues involved too, and help us in marking this memorable time? This opportunity is not limited just to the Appeal. If you would like to organise your own collect, promotion stand or other activity at any time, then please do be in touch as we would be happy to support you. Please note, some collection areas may require the person to stand for a length of time.
