South East London Mind is a highly regarded, innovative local charity working alongside people with mental health problems and dementia in their local communities to improve their quality of life. We are seeking to add to the expertise of our experienced, professional Board of Trustees. In this recruitment, we are particularly seeking people with experience in one or more of the following areas: Legal Fundraising Marketing and Communications IT/Facilities/Property management Lived experience that will bring further diversity to the Board

Why these skills are required

All our Trustees need excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, strategic vision and good, independent judgement. In this recruitment, we are particularly seeking people with experience in one or more of the following areas: - Legal - Fundraising - Marketing and Communications - IT/Facilities/Property management - Lived experience that will bring further diversity to the Board Inclusion is one of our core values and we see great benefits in having a diverse Board. South East London Mind delivers mental health services to those in need in the London boroughs of Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. Board Meetings take place in London Bridge. Most sub-committee meetings take place virtually via Video Conference.
