Blether Buddy Befrienders Needed
ScotsCare
Can you spare 1 or 2 hours once a week or a fortnight to spend time with a ScotsCare client?
You could be having a friendly chat in our client's home, going for a walk in a park, or around the shops, having teas and chats in a coffee shop, or visiting places of interest together. Giving someone who feels alone, or is socially isolated, the simple gift of time & companionship can make the world of difference to their sense of wellbeing and your meetings will be something they can look forward to. This is an easy, very meaningful way to help someone and is immensely rewarding and fun! Our clients are adults of all ages, mostly 60+
