The Fundraising Manager will bring a strong mix of professional expertise, interpersonal skills, and creative thinking to ensure the success of The View’s fundraising activities. They should have experience in individual giving and community fundraising, whether through professional work or volunteering, and be able to identify, design, and deliver new initiatives and campaigns that mobilize individuals and communities in support of The View. A genuine interest in, or lived experience of, the issues faced by women in the justice system is essential, along with empathy and the ability to engage supporters through authentic storytelling. The role requires discretion and respect for confidentiality, clear and confident communication both in writing and orally, and the ability to build effective and supportive working relationships with colleagues, partners, and donors. Reliability and consistency are key, with the capacity to manage responsibilities independently while contributing positively to team efforts. The Fundraising Manager should be approachable, friendly, and confident in engaging with a wide range of individuals, while also being methodical, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Creativity and imaginative thinking are vital, bringing fresh ideas to fundraising campaigns and events, and strong people skills will ensure they represent The View with professionalism and passion.
