Our Befriending Service team matches Befriending Volunteers with older isolated Westminster residents for a regular face-to-face visit. Ideally, a Befriending Volunteer would visit the older person they are matched with once a week for a friendly chat over a cup of coffee/tea, maybe accompany them on a short walk or run small errands together with them. This role would be ideal for someone who has just 1-2 hours per week to spare. Volunteering can take place during the day, in the evenings or at weekends.
