Cat Fosterer
RSPCA Finchley
Foster carers for rescued cats to look after them while they wait for their forever home.
Drop us an email on volunteer@rspcafinchley.org.uk to find out more & sign up. We are looking for volunteers to support our RSPCA branch by fostering a cat whilst they wait to be adopted into permanent homes. This can range form a couple of days through to a couple of months, or perhaps even longer. We will work with you to understand your situation and match you to the perfect foster cat. The characters for this advert are very limited and there's lot to say, so if you're interested in helping out cats in need, please email us on volunteer@rspcafinchley.org.uk to find out more.

You will work closely with the RSPCA to provide the cat with a suitably safe environment, feed, water and groom them in line with our advice. We are looking for volunteers who like cats and are willing to spend time being social with them and getting them ready for permanent adoption. You will need patience and be willing to stay in regular contact with our Animal Welfare Officers. You'll be helping out cats who need love and a safe and quiet space to adapt to their new lives and you'll be playing a crucial role in a cat's wellbeing and socialisation which greatly improves their chances of a successful rehoming. We're particularly looking for fosterers who can take on nursing mothers with kittens. We get lots of these - they can be very demanding but also very rewarding!.
What's better than helping a cat in need! You'll get to spend loads of time playing with lovely cats.
You will care for the cat in your own home. Each cat comes with their own needs and this will be discussed with you prior to you taking responsibility for them.

You will do this role in your own home. You may need to pop into our shops, either in East Finchley or North Finchley. The vets we use are Two by Two Vets, 178-180 Long Lane, N3 2RA. We can help you take the cats to the vets if needed.
