Befriender/Peer Supporter at Inclusive Cycling Sessions
EcoLocal
We are looking for people to help make a welcoming environment at our cycling sessions.
We run inclusive cycling sessions at Sutton Arena. People come to cycle round the track to get a bit of outdoor exercise, get out of the house and meet other people. We are looking for people to help make a welcoming environment at our cycling sessions. You will support our cycle instructors by giving a friendly welcome when people arrive, introducing them to the cycle instructors as necessary, spending time chatting to people, cycling around the track with people either on a bike or on our side-by-side cycles. Generally ensuring that people are happy, having a good time and getting what they want out of the sessions. You will be able to ask the cycle instructors to help people who need bikes adjusting or need help getting on to a bike. If interested, please contact us directly: Tansy Honey, volunteering@ecolocal.org.uk or 020 8404 1522. Please quote you found out about the role through Volunteer Centre Sutton.
