Mentoring someone at risk of homelessness
Bridging the Gap Mentoring
Mentor someone in unstable housing or with experience of criminal justice or substance misuse
After initial induction training (3 Zoom training sessions in the early evening), you will meet with someone in difficulties about once a week over 4 months. You will meet in a public place, like a cafe. You will help them to achieve changes that they choose, like applying for benefits, training or housing. Each mentor is supported by an experienced porfessional supervisor who will contact them once a week and meet them regularly. We will cover costs, including travel. You will also be given a separate phone. You can choose who you mentor and when you mentor.
