Haven House Children's Hospice
Volunteer supporting the siblings of the Children who use Haven House assisting with activities.
We provide regular support groups and activity sessions for siblings to meet other brothers and sisters of children with life-limiting illnesses or those who have experienced bereavement. The service is hosted in a variety of settings including our Buddies hut in the grounds or trips off site. These take place in the School holidays with at least one activity taking place each school holiday. Volunteers would need to be available at these times. The groups are often divided between juniors (aged 5-11) and teens (12-18). For both groups it is an opportunity to have fun together.
