Looking for a volunteer ESOL teacher to run classes for refugees, asylum seekers and migrants .
We are looking for a volunteer ESOL teacher to run classes for refugees, asylum seekers and migrants from a wide range of abilities, backgrounds and ages. You will be responsible for planning and delivering the lessons with the help of experienced colleagues and access to all necessary relevant teaching materials.
Teaching & Training
Basic IT skills - internet & email, Language Skills, Organising & Planning, Reading & Writing
Must be fluent in English. No need for previous teaching experience but CELTA or a TEFL would be appreciated. Good communication and presentation skills both written and oral. Good team work skills and ability to relate well to staff and students.
You will benefit from the assistance of experienced ESOL teachers. You will develop your teaching skills from planning the lessons; identifying relevant teaching materials and delivering the lessons independently.
We need you to volunteer on a weekday morning from 10 am to 12 pm, either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
