Scouts Trustee
16th Bermondsey Scouts
Scouts Trustees work behind the scenes to support a local Scout group.
Our trustees oversee the administration of our Scout Group, and work behind the scenes to support our volunteers. Trustees don't work directly with young people - but without them, Scouts couldn't operate. As well as a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, we welcome people with specific skills. There are 3-4 meetings per year, and tasks between meetings that can usually be done from home in your own time, making them perfect if you'd like to support Scouts but have limited time or don't want to commit to running weekly meetings or regular activities with young people.

Volunteering with Scouts means being part of a supportive team, which promotes your mental health, and acquiring skills and experience which will support your CV and current employment prospects and development.
