Traffic Supervisor
Friends of Animal League (F.O.A.L. Farm)
To stop traffic in each direction alternately on single track drive using walkie talkies. Busy, but great fun and ideal for anyone who has always wanted to play traffic control.
Foal Farm Animal Rescue Centre is a registered charity based at Biggin Hill in Kent. Its aim is to take in as many sick, distressed and unwanted animals as possible and restore them to health and happiness. Where possible we find them good new homes, or provide sanctuary for life. We rely on donations, legacies and our own fundraising events to keep going and to enable us to take in more animals. Once a month, on the last Sunday, we hold a Sale Event Day to raise much needed funds. We have a single-track driveway, and are most grateful to volunteers who help control the traffic, using walkie talkies to stop the traffic in each direction alternately. This is a great role for anyone who likes to have a bit of control! It can get busy, but it is great fun too. With enough help, everyone takes a turn and has time to visit the tea room too for some great cakes! We would love to hear from you if you might be interested in helping us in this way.
