Provide support to children who are seriously unwell and their families in your community!

Detailed Description

As a Home Support Volunteer, you'll get to provide practical support to a family with a seriously unwell child in their home. This could involve playing games with children and young people, helping with homework, or carrying out practical tasks such as gardening. You'll be there as an extra pair of hands, helping the whole family to make the most of every day! Volunteers are never left alone with a seriously unwell child or have to provide any medical care. Noah's Ark provides a comprehensive training programme and ongoing support to give home support volunteers skills and confidence.

We accept people with a range of skills to be a Home Support Volunteer. The key things to have is a solid understanding of maintaining professional boundaries, respecting confidentiality and the rules of being a Noah's Ark volunteer. All Home Support Volunteers undergo our training programme which covers these topics.
