Coffee morning volunteer for the John Scott Health Centre
We are looking for a coffee morning volunteer for our Together Better coffee morning at the John Scott Health Centre near Manor House in Hackney. We have a lovely, friendly group of local residents coming every week. Our longstanding wonderful volunteer has found full time employment and we are looking for a sociable person who enjoys communicating and socialising with our residents. You will receive training and support from our community engagement care coordinator for this role. You would need to be available on Wednesdays from 9:45 - 11:45.

We are looking for someone who enjoys talking to people, is curious and has good organisational skills. The volunteer will help with setting up for the coffee morning, making teas and coffees, interacting with participants. We also invite our volunteers to all our trips (about 4 - 6 a year)
All our volunteers receive volunteer training and supervision. We will also provide a DBS check. You will make connections within our community, build on your communication and social skills. You will work in an NHS setting, and make connections with other volunteers and participants in the Together Better programme. We also invite our volunteers to all our trips (about 4 - 6 a year)
up to 2 hours a week (Wednesday 10 - 11:30, plus ideally 15 min before and after for set up and clear up).
