Sport in Mind is the UK's leading mental health sports charity. We use the power of sport to transform the lives of children and adults. Sport in Mind are looking for volunteers to support us with various events we run across the City of London or its periphery. Volunteering at our events is very variable and can include: - providing marshals or cheer points at running or similar events - supporting us at an amazing Sport in Mind stand - helping with fun sporting activities and helping us to spread the word about who we are and what we do. Duties and responsibilities can include: - Welcoming the public in a friendly and warm manner. - Positively promoting Sport in Mind. - Help raise awareness to attract new clients, volunteers, and fundraisers. - Facilitate simple games by either playing yourself or taking the score. - General set up and tidying up as required. - Marshalling at race events - Car Park attendants - Fundraising and donation collections What training & benefits are available?: Sport in Mind massively value our volunteers for giving their time to help deliver our services. We are delighted to offer ongoing training opportunities around sport and mental health to help you develop your skills as a volunteer and grow in confidence.
