We are looking for a new trustee to join the board of East London Metropolitan Opera. ELMO’s flagship project is Music in the Ville which employs professional musicians to run workshops in Pentonville Prison. Music has a hugely beneficial effect on the mental health of the men, giving them a sense of well being which contributes to their rehabilitation and improves behaviour. We are looking for someone with an interest in the arts and how it can transform lives. An ability to work as a team is essential. Some experience of financial management, social media and fundraising is desirable but not essential.
