Bold Waters is a community organisation working to remove barriers to water safety, swimming and access to the outdoors. We are looking for an organised and reliable Administration & Project Support Volunteer to help keep Bold Waters running efficiently behind the scenes.
Bold Waters is a community organisation working to remove barriers to water safety, swimming and access to the outdoors. We deliver inclusive programmes that improve water safety awareness, confidence, leadership, wellbeing and employability, with a particular focus on supporting underrepresented communities. We are looking for an organised and reliable Administration & Project Support Volunteer to help keep Bold Waters running efficiently behind the scenes. This role supports the wider team by providing administrative assistance across multiple programmes and projects. You will help ensure information is organised, systems are kept up to date, and day-to-day administration is completed efficiently, allowing programme leads to focus on delivery. Duties and responsibilities include: ● Provide administrative support across Bold Waters' programmes and projects. ● Maintain organised digital filing systems and shared drives. ● Update registers, trackers and databases. ● Support programme administration, including participant records and documentation. ● Assist with preparing forms, documents and resources. ● Support meeting administration, including agendas and minutes where required. ● Help monitor shared inboxes and direct enquiries to the appropriate team member. ● Assist with research and data collection. ● Help ensure organisational records are accurate and up to date. ● Provide general administrative support to the Bold Waters team as required. This is a remote volunteer role with flexible hours.

● Good computer literacy and IT skills ● Excellent communication and organisational skills ● Available to have weekly team meetings ● Capable of handling information, digital document organisation, managing schedules ● Eager to work with NGOs and charitable organisations dedicated to helping low-income households, providing employment opportunities, and water-justice
By volunteering with Bold Waters, you will: ● Gain practical administration experience working in a professional services environment ● Develop transferable skills within a growing social impact organisation. ● Build experience working alongside a supportive and passionate team. ● Strengthening CV whilst supporting important community causes ● Contribute to programmes that improve water safety, wellbeing and access to the outdoors. ● Receive a reference following a successful period of volunteering.
