We're looking for a Partnerships & Funding Volunteer to help us research grants, identify funding opportunities and maintain our funding pipeline. Great for anyone interested in the charity, education or social impact sectors. Flexible hours, remote friendly. No experience necessary.
About ThreadPoint ThreadPoint is a social impact organisation helping children, schools and communities understand the physical systems behind AI, cloud computing, data centres and digital infrastructure. We combine education, research and public engagement to make complex topics accessible through creative learning experiences, publications and community programmes. We currently run sessions across Hackney, Camden and beyond, working with schools, libraries and community partners. About the Role We're looking for a Partnerships & Funding Volunteer to help us identify opportunities that will enable ThreadPoint to grow its impact. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in fundraising, partnerships, philanthropy, social impact, CSR or the charity sector to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful work. Responsibilities: 1. Research grant and funding opportunities 2. Identify trusts, foundations and corporate funding programmes 3. Help maintain a funding pipeline 4. Support the preparation of grant applications and supporting documents 5. Research potential partners and introductions 6. Track application deadlines and follow-up actions 7. Help organise partnership information using Airtable

Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Good IT Skills, Maths, Reading & Writing, Research
Useful skills include research, writing, project coordination and data organisation. Familiarity with grant databases such as Funding Central or similar platforms is a bonus. Experience with Airtable or similar tools is helpful but not required. Most importantly we're looking for someone curious, organised and genuinely motivated by social impact.
