Detailed Description

Join TEVA Enterprises CIC as a Community & Programme Support Volunteer and play a hands-on role in helping people rebuild their lives through employment, education and wellbeing support. TEVA supports individuals who may have had contact with the criminal justice system, experienced long-term unemployment, or faced alcohol and drug misuse, helping them move closer to sustainable employment. Our work spans workshops in universities, visits to prisons to support pre-release groups, and a 12-week fitness and wellbeing programme that builds the foundation for long-term employment and education. As a volunteer, you'll get involved in the day-to-day running of these programmes, including: • Supporting general admin tasks such as emails, data entry and document management • Maintaining accurate records for service users and programmes • Assisting with scheduling meetings, sessions and appointments • Helping deliver community programmes and workshops, in-person or online • Supporting the onboarding of new service users and gathering feedback • Preparing materials for sessions and outreach activities • Liaising with partners, service users and stakeholders • Supporting internal reporting and monitoring of outcomes • Helping update spreadsheets, trackers and basic reports This is a great opportunity to gain real, hands-on experience in the social impact and community sector, working alongside an experienced and approachable team. Skills and requirements: Essential: • Aged 18 or over • Strong organisation and communication skills • Reliable, proactive and willing to learn • Interest in social impact, employment, community work or public services • Confidence using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Desirable: • Lived experience of the criminal justice system, long-term unemployment, or recovery from alcohol/drug misuse • Experience volunteering or working with communities You'll be supported throughout with mentoring and professional development opportunities, and travel expenses are covered.
