They may be housebound or may be someone with a long term illness or mobility difficulties, or just someone who would find it difficult to carry a heavy bag of food. Volunteers will: - Visit the Aldgate food hub at Artizan library weekly, to collect a bag of shopping for the client - Deliver this immediately to the client’s home (and help to put the food away if required) - Collect the client’s weekly cash contribution towards the shopping (currently £4) - Be a friendly regular presence at your short visit each week - Conduct an informal wellbeing check whilst in the client's home, let the client know about other services they might find helpful and report any concerns about their wellbeing to volunteering manager
