We are looking for a Community engagement and outreach volunteer to help us to research and develop our relationships and connections across different sectors.

WIILMA exists to tackle loneliness and isolation, increase community cohesion, and provide advocacy and research on important issues facing our communities. We are looking for a Community engagement and outreach volunteer to help us to research and develop our relationships and connections across different sectors. Volunteers will act as a bridge between our organisation and various sectors, researching and developing powerful partnerships with local businesses, charities, and community leaders. Your outgoing personality and strategic mind will help us expand our network, creating collaborative opportunities that fuel our projects and multiply our reach. What can be gained and applied to this role: ● Hands-On Portfolio Building: Gain tangible, real-world examples for your portfolio, in the given type of volunteering role you have applied for. ● Communication Mastery: Enhance your public speaking, presentation, and collaborative skills by working directly with diverse community groups and cross-sector partners. ● Community Dynamics: Learn about the inner workings of the non-profit sector, social outreach, and local community needs.
