Do you enjoy walking, connecting with people, and supporting community wellbeing? We’re looking for a friendly and reliable volunteer to help lead a weekly wellness walking group.

Detailed Description

Together Better is a Volunteer Centre Hackney project that aims to lighten the load on GP surgeries and encourage patients into activities that will benefit their health and wellbeing, by supporting them to build inclusive and sustainable relationships and overall healthier lives. The Neaman Practise are looking to recruit a Weekly Wellness Walk Volunteer who is happy to give one-two hours of their time each week to lead a walking ground for participants. As a Walking Group Lead, you’ll help create a welcoming and supportive environment where people can enjoy gentle exercise, social connection, and fresh air together. We’re looking for someone who is: • Friendly, approachable, and encouraging • Reliable and organised • Comfortable leading small groups outdoors • Passionate about wellbeing and community connection • No formal qualifications required What you’ll gain: • Experience in community wellbeing and group facilitation • Opportunities to build confidence and leadership skills • Meet new people and make a positive local impact • Volunteer references and training where available
