Hackney Foodbank is an independent charity, founded in 2012 as part of The Trussell Trust’s network of food banks. We support people who are in crisis or trapped in poverty with compassion and dignity and help them through targeted poverty relief responses. We are seeking a Digital Fundraising Volunteer to help develop our digital food bank fundraising programme.

We support people who are in crisis or trapped in poverty with compassion and dignity and help them through targeted poverty relief responses. We are seeking a Digital Fundraising Volunteer to help develop our digital food bank fundraising programme. This is an important role for a digitally skilled volunteer to support the Communication and Fundraisings Team to deliver this digital service, ensuring food banks have access to the latest social media platforms, expanding into digital audiences and opportunities to fund raise the important activities of the food bank which sustain and empower local communities in Hackney at very challenging times. What you will be doing?: - Establish and manage a digital fundraising campaign, primarily on Facebook. - Provide advice to the food bank regarding our digital presence. We are looking for between 4-6 hours a week, during the working hours. The role can take place as a combination of home and office volunteering work although our charity likes to interact with volunteers and staff in person.

The skills you need: - Previous experience of managing Facebook Ad campaigns, preferably for charities. - Passionate about the work of Hackney Foodbank and commitment to its mission, values and ethos.
