We believe education is a lifelong journey, and our school is a place where pupils and staff alike grow together in faith, knowledge, and joy. We are looking for volunteers to support with our lunchtime duty/playground games. The volunteer will support staff during lunchtime by helping children line up safely and quietly during transitions. They assist in supervising the playground, engage children in games, and promote positive behaviour. The role also includes encouraging healthy eating habits and helping children clean up after lunch, while working collaboratively with staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.

Volunteers will gain valuable experience in both educational and office environments, developing a range of transferable skills. While supporting children, they will build confidence in communication, teamwork, and behaviour management, as well as learn how to engage positively with young people. Volunteers will improve their time management, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team. They will also gain a sense of achievement from contributing to a supportive environment, while enhancing their CV and employability through practical, hands-on experience.
We are happy to work around the volunteers availability in regards to the office. For lunch time cover we would ideally need someone from 11.30 to 1pm.
