Curious to see what’s a museum collection? Love how stories bring people together? As a Storytelling Volunteer, help to animate the collection by sharing what makes objects special, interesting or personally meaningful and inviting visitors to do the same. No arts background or special skills are required, just friendliness and a curious mind – all training is provided! This role is based at V&A East Museum. To become a volunteer, you need to attend a selection event and an induction event each run from approximately 10:00 – 15:00. The available dates are: 31st March - Selection Event 2nd April - Selection Event 22nd April - Induction Event 23rd April - Induction Event Unfortunately, we are unable to offer alternative dates for the selection and induction event, so these dates and times do not work for you, please wait for a future recruitment round to apply Get in touch with us if you have any questions.

We’d love for you to join us once a month. Volunteering slots are available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. They will vary in length, between 2-4hrs, so you can decide what’s best for you.
