This is an outward-facing, developmental role supporting our fundraising and community engagement work. You will help us identify new opportunities to connect with local groups, events and organisations, and support us to build meaningful relationships that raise awareness of our work.
Research local events, festivals and awareness days where we could have a presence Identify community groups, faith networks, schools and grassroots organisations aligned with our mission Summarise your findings with clear recommendations Help organise and track potential opportunities Support outreach to potential community partners Draft introductory emails or short briefing notes Help maintain a simple partnerships database Identify ideas for talks, joint activities, volunteering or fundraising opportunities Attend selected events to represent Providence Row Speak confidently about our work and impact

Gain experience in community partnership building Insight into charity fundraising and engagement strategy Development of research, outreach and networking skills Regular support from our Fundraising Team Travel expenses reimbursed A professional reference after an agreed period
Time Commitment • Ideally 1 day per week (or 4–8 hours) • Minimum commitment of 3 months • Some flexibility to attend occasional events (evenings or weekends)
