Produce a newsletter with and for people with learning disabilities

Detailed Description

To work with a group of people with learning disabilities to produce a community newsletter. You will help facilitate the group and agree on items for the newsletter. This may include articles from Outward, external items, and personal pieces, plus images. You will be responsible for producing the newsletter, ensuring that it is reflects the ideas of the people we support, is accessible to different communication needs and fits with our 'branding'. You will not be responsible for distribution.

Good communication skills Some experience of group facilitation Some experience of digital publishing Organised, independent, reliable Open minded, empathetic, non judgemental Experience of working with people with learning disabilities would be useful but training is provided

Time Commitment

Ideally 2-4 hours per week, days & times will be agreed with volunteer, between Monday - Thursday
