Volunteering at HMC provides an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our visitors and to help build solidarity within our community. We work with a supportive team of volunteers – many themselves migrants and former visitors to HMC. This experience of working at HMC has helped many of our volunteers to find work within the voluntary sector or to study relevant subject areas. Our volunteers do fantastic, vital work- but frustrations with technical challenges can be significant barrier for volunteers to complete tasks successfully and smoothly. If you’re patient, enjoy supporting others and are able to help tackle our technological conundrums, you will help not only HMC’s visitors but also see a rewarding growth in the confidence and knowledge in the volunteer team!
