Detailed Description

St Margaret's House is a community Arts and Wellbeing Centre in Bethnal Green. We believe in the transformative power of the arts and community connection to impact people’s physical and mental health and wellbeing. Volunteers are an integral part of the St Margaret’s House team. They help us engage and inspire both individuals and community groups, whilst gaining key skills and experience in a busy and multifaceted arts charity. Many of our volunteers have gone on to become paid members of staff at St Margaret’s House, or have been able to find work in other organisations after volunteering with us. We are in need of volunteers to support us at our Ayoka charity shop where you can support our thriving charity shop, greet and meet people and prepare items to be sold. Our charity shop, Ayoka, would not operate without the dedication and support of our volunteers. They’re the reason we’re able to open seven days a week and are a huge part of why our customers keep coming back again and again.
