We believe in the transformative power of the arts and community connection to impact people’s physical and mental health and wellbeing. We are currently looking for a volunteer treasurer to join our trustee board. As Treasurer, it’s your responsibility to ensure that SMH’s money is safe, properly used and accurately accounted for. Each trustee shares in the collective responsibility for understanding and overseeing SMH’s finances. The co-CEOs will present a draft annual budget in February each year to be agreed and approved for April onwards. Trustees will see management accounts at each trustee meeting which detail how the budget is being spent. The Treasurer acts as the Chair of the Finance Subcommittee, which meets when required.
