Fern Street Family Centre
Fern Street Family Centre will be running free summer holiday clubs for 6-11 year olds. Clubs will run 21 to 30 July 2026. Volunteers will be supporting the clubs alongside regular staff. You will be involved in arts and crafts, games, team activities, etc. Volunteers need to arrive at 9:30am to assist in setting up and get a briefing for the day. Our holiday clubs are always fun and joyous and we would like volunteers to help us to build happy memories with the children in our community.
Fern Street Family Centre will be running free summer holiday clubs for 6-11 year olds between 21 and 30 July 2026. Clubs will run for 3 days over 2 weeks. Volunteers will be supporting the clubs alongside regular staff. You will be involved in arts and crafts, games, team activities, etc. Clubs will run from 10am to 3pm but volunteers need to arrive at 9:30am to assist in setting up and to get a briefing for the day. The themes will be ‘Secret Agents’ one week and ‘Superheroes’ the other. Our holiday clubs are always fun and joyous and we would like volunteers to help us to build happy memories with the children in our community.

Ability to work well within a team. Good communication skills. Experience of working with children is beneficial but not essential! Volunteers need enthusiasm and energy!
You will be working with children from the local community, helping to build friendships, encourage creativity in young minds and create lasting memories! You will have a lot of fun and gain valuable experience.
Commitment to either one or both weeks of the club is preferable. Sessions run Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Week 1: 21st, 22nd, 23rd July Week 2: 28th, 29th, 30th July. Hours: 9:30am - 3:30pm.
