Face Painter – Community Fun Day

At Unity Support Network, our mission is to strengthen the fabric of the community in the London Borough of Hackney by providing enriching activities and essential support to young people, families, and elders. We are looking for a volunteer face painter who is needed for our Community Fun Day on Sat 27 Sept (12–5pm, Charterhouse Rd). Only 2–4 hours of face painting required – bring fun and colour for local children and families.

As a volunteer Face Painter, you will: Provide face painting for children (and adults if requested) in a safe, friendly, and inclusive way Use your creativity to paint simple, fun designs (e.g. flowers, superheroes, animals) Engage positively with children, parents, and carers Ensure good hygiene and safety practices (e.g. using clean brushes/sponges for each child) Help create a welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere at the event

Experience with face painting (professional or voluntary) Confidence working with children and families Friendly, approachable, and patient manner Own face painting kit/materials would be a huge advantage Ability to commit to a few hours during the event
