Volunteer Christmas Day Dinner Helper

A warm, friendly attitude and a genuine desire to help others. Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or volunteer roles is a plus. Basic catering experience, including food prep, is needed. A Basic Food Hygiene certificate is ideal but not essential. Ability to work in a team, communicate well with diverse groups, and adapt to a busy environment. Flexibility and reliability are key.

Detailed Description

Help with setting up the dining area, including table settings, decorations, and ensuring the environment is festive and welcoming. Assist with serving food and drinks to guests in a respectful and friendly manner. Support guests with any special requirements, ensuring everyone feels included and comfortable. Assist with cleaning and tidying up before, during, and after the event. Be a friendly and positive presence, helping to create a warm and festive atmosphere. Some basic catering duties, such as chopping vegetables and other prep work. Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed, particularly in relation to food hygiene.

Time Commitment

6 - 9 Hours on Christmas Day. Volunteers are required for a few hours on Christmas Day (timings to be confirmed). Assistance may be needed before or after the event for setup or cleanup.
