This role is essential in creating a positive first impression for clients, while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of front desk operations and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: ● Greet all clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcomed upon arrival ● Operate the buzzer/entry system to allow clients into the premises safely and efficiently ● Book clients in for appointments accurately using the company’s scheduling system ● Answer incoming phone calls, respond to enquiries and direct calls to the appropriate person or department ● Guide clients to the correct staff member or service area within the office ● Maintain a tidy, organised, and presentable reception and office environment at all times ● Accept and manage deliveries, ensuring items are received, recorded, and distributed appropriately ● Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and handling correspondence.

Volunteering as a Receptionist/Administrator with the Women’s Inclusive Team (WIT) provides valuable hands-on experience in a supportive and empowering environment, while helping to build key skills such as communication, organisation, and customer service. In this role, you will interact with clients both in person and over the phone, boosting your confidence and professionalism, while carrying out tasks such as booking appointments, managing deliveries, and keeping the office organised. This experience enhances your CV and can improve future job opportunities, particularly in administrative or customer-facing roles. Additionally, you will have the chance to meet new people, develop workplace skills, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive space, playing an important part in ensuring every client feels comfortable and supported from the moment they arrive.
