The Salvation Army in Poplar hosts community breakfast and lunch every Tuesday. We would like volunteers to join us to help create a warm, welcoming environment for guests attending The Table program. Volunteers will assist with greeting guests, supporting food service, and helping keep the space clean and organised so everyone can enjoy a positive start to their day. The program runs from 9.30am - 1.30pm but volunteers are needed for half an hour before and after to help set up and tidy away.

· Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and respectful manner. · Help guide guests through the breakfast and lunch service. · Assist with serving food and drinks such as tea, coffee, and breakfast and lunch items. · Help set up tables, chairs, and serving areas before the program begins. · Clear tables and assist with dishes during and after the meals. · Help keep the dining area clean and tidy. · Support staff and other volunteers to ensure the mealtimes run smoothly.
