Hope and Justice CIC is seeking a proactive and committed Fundraising Volunteer (Grants) to join our team. Do you have excellent writing and research skills? Are you interested is learning how to research funding opportunities and write compelling proposals? If so, we would love to hear from you. Hope and Justice CIC is seeking a proactive and committed Fundraising Volunteer (Grants) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting women affected by domestic violence and who wants to use their skills to help secure vital funding for our growing organisation. Your contribution as a volunteer will help ensure that more women in the UK can access the legal support and justice they deserve. Hope and Justice CIC is a newly established community interest company (CIC) dedicated to tackling domestic violence across the UK. We work to ensure that women experiencing domestic abuse can access innovative, high-quality legal representation—support that is often out of reach for many victims. Our mission is to remove barriers, promote justice, and empower women by providing pathways to safety, legal support, and long-term stability. As we grow, fundraising is essential to helping us expand our services, develop innovative programmes, and collaborate with partners who share our vision.

Why these skills are required

For this role you will need: ● Good written communication skills. ● Interest to develop or strengthen skills in grant fundraising. Training and mentorship will be provided for the right candidate who has no previous grant fundraising experience. ● Ability to research grants and funding opportunities. ● Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.

What is in it for you

You will: ● Gain hands-on experience in grant writing, fundraising, and donor engagement. ● Develop grant fundraising skills, which may be beneficial if seeking work in the charity sector. - References can be provided after three months of volunteering. ● Build skills in researching funding opportunities and crafting persuasive proposals. ● Contribute directly to improving support for women affected by domestic violence. ● Develop confidence and experience in the non-profit and social justice sector.

Time Commitment

Up to 4 hours per week, with flexible hours. We would prefer the volunteer to work from home using their own equipment.
