Detailed Description

The Vagina Museum was founded in 2017 with a view to becoming the world's first bricks and mortar museum dedicated to the gynaecological anatomy. We wouldn't be able to do it without the dedication from our fantastic staff and volunteers. Based in Bethnal Green, this free-admission museum has a programme of exhibitions and events educating about and celebrating the world's most misunderstood body part. Our current exhibitions explore sexism in the museum world, feminist history and body activism. We are looking to expand our team of Front of House Volunteers to welcome visitors to the Vagina Museum and support making it a warm and inclusive place. You will answer questions from visitors, deal with enquiries, provide information to visitors and respond to emails.
