Outward Housing

At Outward, we support people with learning disabilities, people on the autism spectrum, older people and young people at risk in their homes, in the community and through our supported holidays and respite. We are looking for a volunteer to organise fun activities for people with learning disabilities in respite care.

Detailed Description

At Outward, we support people with learning disabilities, people on the autism spectrum, older people and young people at risk in their homes, in the community and through our supported holidays and respite. We are passionate about helping people develop independence and meet their personal goals and aspirations, overcoming any barriers they may face. We are looking for an activity leader volunteer to support our organisation. Within the role you would organise fun activities for people with learning disabilities in respite care. Activities might be arts, crafts, music, poetry, yoga, chair based exercises, something else? You tell us what skills or interests you would like to share. Volunteers will organise the activity and ensure that it is inclusive. You might need to engage with people with limited communication.
