Queertopia Consortium is a Community Interest Company (CIC) focused on fostering inclusivity and connection within the LGBTQIA+ community. As a community-led organisation, we advocate for equality and trauma-informed care, providing platforms for businesses and services to collaborate and create inclusive environments for both colleagues and beneficiaries. Queertopia wants to bridge access and build a sense of belonging for the LGBTQIA+ community, ensuring everyone has the support they need. We are looking for a dedicated Volunteer Administrator to help us grow and make a lasting impact. Responsibilities include: ● Assist with general administrative tasks, including email management, scheduling, and document preparation. ● Support the team with data entry, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with businesses and partners. ● Manage and update social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok) with engaging content that highlights our mission and impact. ● Assist in planning and promoting monthly forum meetings and events. ● Provide general support for marketing efforts and outreach campaigns. ● Collaborate with the Queertopia team to improve systems and processes. ● Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. ● Experience in or an interest in social media marketing (particularly Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok). ● Good written and verbal communication skills. ● Passionate about LGBTQIA+ advocacy and inclusion. ● Basic IT skills, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Canva (preferred). ● A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
