As Team Leader, you will provide leadership and direction to a small team of volunteers, helping the group run smoothly and effectively. We work collaboratively, so you will be supported by our Deputy Team Leader and team members in their specialisation, such as fundraising and IT Support. You will help with: • Leadership & Management: Guide the management team, set local goals, lead meetings, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth operations. • Volunteer Support: Interview, motivate, and support coaches (volunteers) and other team members, fostering a positive environment and managing team dynamics. • Strategic Planning: Develop local strategies, manage resources, and plan activities to reach more learners. • Community & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the group's ambassador, build relationships with local partners (social prescribers, etc), and promote Read Easy's profile and reputation. • Operations: Oversee day-to-day running, manage budgets (with the Treasurer), handle data protection (with the Champion), and liaise with Read Easy UK. • Coaching Oversight: Work with the Coordinator Supporter to ensure effective operation of the Coordinator team.
