Detailed Description

Come and join our Towpath Taskforce, looking after the Regent’s Canal and Lee Navigation, on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays. Sessions run from 10:30 am - 3:00 pm. As a Towpath Taskforce Volunteer you will be volunteering in the great outdoors, helping to support your local canal by cutting back overgrown vegetation, clearing paths, collecting litter, painting, working from one of our boats, and many other tasks. All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support. We will be delighted to see you there. Welfare facilities are provided at all events by one of our boats (toilet, tea, biscuits etc.). Joining instructions will be sent out before the event to everyone signed up. It's a great chance to meet new people and learn about how we look after the canals and rivers.
