Cody Dock BioBlitz 2025: Become a Citizen Scientist! Join us on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM - 2PM for a day of exploration and discovery at Cody Dock as part of City Nature Challenge 2025! Whether you're a seasoned naturalist or just curious about the wildlife around you, this event is perfect for all ages and a fantastic way to contribute to our understanding of urban biodiversity. What to Expect: ● 10:00 AM – Discover moths and other invertebrates from our overnight light traps ● 11:00 AM – Join a guided plant walk to explore local flora ● 12:00 PM – Take part in an insect survey to identify different species ● 1:00 PM – Pond dipping to discover our amazing aquatic invertebrates Led by experienced naturalists, you’ll gain hands-on experience identifying plants and animals that call Cody Dock home. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, learn new skills, and contribute to citizen science!
