The Mentoring Lab Community C.I.C is seeking passionate volunteers to join our Fundraising Committee to help raise vital funds for our Mentoring For Youth Platform. As a committee member, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring sustainable funding for our digital Youth Mentoring initiatives that support young people across the UK and Commonwealth countries. With guidance from our founder and Trustees, you'll make of the fundraising team, contributing to developing and implementing fundraising strategies that will directly impact the lives of young people from Marginalised backgrounds. Your efforts will help us expand our reach and enhance our ability to break down barriers to progression for marginalised youth.

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds who: Have the ability to move and inspire through powerful writing and impactful words. Have the ability to consult beneficiaries and ensure their voices are reflected in applications. A resilient individual who can adapt and persevere through challenges. Someone open to feedback and committed to continuous learning. A global citizen who understands and respects different cultures, communities, and races. Are passionate about youth development and social equity Have good communication and interpersonal skills Can commit to at least 8-12 hours per month Bring enthusiasm and creative thinking to fundraising challenges Have an understanding of or interest in digital platforms for social good Ideally have some experience or interest in fundraising, marketing, or business
You will also; - Gain an understanding of and commitment to equal opportunity, safeguarding and quality assurance - Learn to how to respect, understand and create safe environments young people from any culture, race, religion, ability, sexual orientation and socio-economic background. - Create SMART targets to help mentees achieve their goals and ambitions
