Sunday Volunteering Opportunity to help with cooking and hosting Urban Table, a free meal for anyone who needs it.
Every Sunday Urban Table volunteers prepare a meal and provide friendly non-judgmental hospitality to anyone who needs it. Volunteers arrive at 11 o’clock to prepare a meal and set up the room. Front-of-house volunteers arrive at 1pm and doors open for tea and coffee at 1.30pm. The meal finishes at 3pm and volunteers stay to clean and tidy up. The volunteer teams are very committed and the work is very rewarding! The lead volunteer will tell you more about the work and arrange a trial session with you before you choose to sign up.
