Mind in the City and Hackney is an independent mental health charity providing support for local people. We aim to empower people with experience of mental ill health, through the delivery of innovative, collaborative services to support peoples mental and physical wellbeing, resilience and recovery in the boroughs we serve. We are looking for volunteers to support our cause by helping us at our charity shop in Dalston. As volunteer your role will be to support the shop manager and the assistant manager with day-to-day duties like - Stock take - Shop floor upkeep/maintenance - Stock Rotation - Processing of Gift Aid and new donors - Working with the Public - Steaming Clothes - Hanging/Pricing and toping up Clothes
Retail & Charity Shops,General and Helping
Basic IT skills - internet & email, Maths, Organising & Planning
- Communication Skills - Teamwork - Can-do attitude
- Learn new skills - Training on using a till and processing gift aid/donors
3-4 Hours if you want to do a full 8Hr Shift were more then happy to accommodate.
