Our Place Hackney, in partnership with Cooperation Town, is setting up a volunteer-led food co-op in the Well Street area. We are looking for committed and community-focused driving volunteers to help transport food from suppliers to our co-op collection point. Volunteers will help local people access affordable groceries through bulk buying and surplus redistribution.

We are looking for committed and community-focused driving volunteers to help transport food from suppliers to our co-op collection point. Volunteers will help local people access affordable groceries through bulk buying and surplus redistribution. Duties and responsibilities: • Collecting food orders from bulk suppliers or surplus providers • Transporting groceries to Our Place Hackney (1 Alpine Grove, E9 7SX) • Helping with unloading and distribution to members This role is likely to be suitable for someone who is: - Organised - Reliable - Someone with a car or van who is happy to support their community through delivery runs. - Fuel expenses can be discussed if needed. Who Can Apply? • Local residents or those happy to travel to the Well Street area • Community-minded people who want to help reduce food costs and food waste • Volunteers who are reliable and can commit for approximately four hours once or twice a week at least.
