Changemaker
Young V&A (formerly Museum Of Childhood)
Volunteering at Young V&A will give you the opportunity to inspire creative confidence in the younger generation (0-14) through play, imagine and design. As a Changemaker you’ll be activating our museum spaces for young people, inspiring them to think about how design can change the world, modelling positive play, whilst ensuring a great experience for visitors by being a warm, welcoming presence. You will engage visitors and bring the interactive elements to life in our exhibitions.

Designed by young people, for young people, Young V&A completely reimagines what a museum for young visitors can be, encouraging the creative curiosity crucial for the development of future generations. Bringing your passion for supporting young people’s creativity and being a positive role model, you’ll be at the forefront of making a huge impact in the local community and helping to ensure visitors have a joyful experience. We ask you to give time once or twice a month, or even more if you want. Volunteering slots last for fours hours, with a 30 minute break and are available seven days a week.
